10.00am – 5.00pm plus reception

Overview
The Lawyers with Disabilities Division (LDD) has developed this one day mini-conference aimed at law students and trainees with disabilities who are considering a career as a solicitor.

The programme will be opened by the deputy vice president, Nick Fluck. During the day you will hear from Access to Work, explaining the help that is available to individuals and firms. LawWorks will talk about pro bono work and we will have a session on CV writing, the job application process and how to prepare for an interview. A panel will talk about their various careers and how they got to where they are now. We will also look at the employers’ perspective of employing people with disabilities.
