The Employability & Skills week web pages have been updated


Dear Student,

Employability & Skills Week is a week of activities & workshops designed to help you think about your future career and what you may need to do to boost your CV.

This week will provide you with the opportunity to meet a range of organisations, providers & professional bodies; you can ask questions about the vacancies that employers may have available when you graduate whilst also finding out what they are looking for in a potential candidate.

Employability & Skills Week is taking place From 20th - 24th February 2012.

Activities are taking place across both campuses, visit our calendar of events for further details but in particular I would like to draw your attention to the following events:

  • Monday 20th Feb - Realworld Masterclass
  • Tuesday 21st Feb- Meet the Employer – Organo Gold UK
  • Thursday 23rd February - Working within the Creative Industries event- see the list of exhibitors attending
  • Thursday 23rd February – Social Media: Friend or Foe? 
  •  Thursday 23rd February- How to get the best graduate job’ session delivered by the Bright Futures Society  
  • Friday 24th February – Professional Part Time Jobs Fair - see the list of exhibitors attending
  • A range of sessions on ‘Enhancing your CV using Google tools’
  • Don’t forget to come along to one of the ‘Express your Interest’ stands and speak to students who are currently undertaking the new ‘Northampton Employability Award’.
