Figures released from UCAS are showing that the number of people applying to study Law at university is rising at a higher rate than university applications across all subjects. (Lawcareers.net - 16/07/2013)
While the number of applicants across all subjects rose 3.1% between June 2012 and June 2013, the number of Law applications increased 5.1% in that time. This is likely to mean that the high level of competition for training contracts, pupillages and paralegal roles will not be easing off anytime soon.
