University of Northampton Law Society - Trips to London

Message from Siobhan Tatum to all LLB and Joint Honours students

I am pleased to inform you all that the Law Society has arranged two trips for next week. All LLB and Joint Honours students are welcome. However places are limited to 20 students for each trip. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

On Wednesday 22nd January we will be visiting Parliament and Inner Temple. We will be getting the 7am train from Northampton in order to be at Parliament for am. Please be at Northampton train station for 6.45am in order to purchase tickets and be on the correct platform. In the afternoon we will attend a tour of Inner Temple at 2pm. A member of Inner Temple will cover the history of the Inn as well as its current functions, scholarships and the Bar. There will also be time for questions. We may even have a couple of drinks in a local pub that lawyers network/drink in.

The train will cost approx. £25 on the day for each trip. I will require a £20 deposit for your place to be reserved by Friday 17th. This will be deducted off your train fare of approx. £25 and is required to ensure people's attendance as a lot of effort has been put into these trips by both the hosts and the Law Society. This deposit will then be deducted from your train fare on the day. If you wish to attend both trips I will only require 1 deposit and then if you attend both days it will be deducted off the train fare for the second trip.

This is a fantastic opportunity and I respect that it is very early to travel so if you live in Milton Keynes etc. and would prefer to catch a train from a different station please contact me to make arrangements.

If you have any queries or wish to book a place please contact Siobhan Tatum on siobhan8185@aol.com or 07412 201735.
