Are you a first year student
who may be interested in taking the 'Volunteering' (Law 2019 - Law in the
Community) module next academic year? If so, you will need to find for yourself
a law-related volunteering opportunity. Many law students who take the module
decide to volunteer with the Citizens Advice Bureau in Northampton. The
Citizens Advice Bureau are currently looking for new volunteers to help clients
contacting them through their telephone contact centre. Full support and
training will be given.
If you are interested in
finding out more then come to a meeting on Friday 7 February 2014 at 12 noon
in Naseby 3. Samantha Akaki and Egle Kampaite from the CAB will provide
more information about this volunteering opportunity and will answer any
questions you may have. Samantha and Egle are past law students from the
University of Northampton and they both took the Law 2019 Law in the Community
module. They are now both in paid employment with the CAB!
