Paid opportunities at Shoosmiths, Northampton


We are excited to announce that the University of Northampton has been chosen to partner the national law firm, Shoosmiths LLP in its pilot resourcing project at its offices at The Lakes, Bedford Road, Northampton.

 
The Recovery Services Practice Group is exploring alternative ways to resource its legal work and supporting functions that are uploaded and processed through its VisualFiles case management system.

 
An oversight of the Group can be found at http://www.shoosmiths.co.uk/services/debt-recovery-95.aspx Shoosmiths has a number of part-time roles on offer with fixed hours each week specifically designed to fit around your studies.  Shoosmiths are looking for students to commit initially for one year (including the availability to work in the holidays).  The firm hopes to extend the project to two years if successful.

 
What are Shoosmiths looking for:
  1. No previous work experience is required.
  2. Successful candidates will be friendly and approachable.
  3. Be able to demonstrate good communication skills.
  4. Be organised and have an eye for detail.
  5. You will need to be a second year student from September 2014.  
In return, Shoosmiths will offer full regulatory and compliance training together with an opportunity to experience law being delivered in a modern firm.
