District Judge Visit - Tuesday 3rd March
Do you want to meet a University
of Northampton graduate who is now a District Judge and Chair of the
Disciplinary Panel of the Football Association?
If so, then come along to an informal event
arranged by the Law Division on Tuesday 3rd March at 3.00 in
Holdenby Lecture Theatre 1.
District Judge Robin Chaudhuri will be joining us to discuss his current role as the
Senior District Judge at Peterborough Combined Court Centre, as well as his
experiences of life at the Bar and his work with the Football Association’s
Disciplinary Panel. The setting will be informal, and will include a question
and answer session.
Robin graduated from the University of
Northampton (then Nene College) in 1986, and was called to the Bar in November
1988. He became a Deputy District Judge in 2000, part-time Chairman of the
Family Health Services Appeal Authority in 2001, and has been a full-time
District Judge since 2008, with a particular interest in Family Law. All
students are welcome.
There will be tea, coffee and biscuits provided and an opportunity to ask questions after the talk.
