NEW exciting opportunity to join the claims handling team working for a law firm that specialises only in corporate liability claims.

1. Administration Role

Role is for a legal graduate who can work well on their own and in a close team environment, prioritise and use initiative as well as being keen, and positive in providing full support services.

Good organisational, time management and communication skills are very important as the tasks and support that the Administration Team provide are invaluable and vital to the claims handling teams and office as a whole. 

Responsibilities;
- Opening claims on the office case management system /conducting initial enquiries.
- Answering telephone calls made to the Office
- General filing duties (correspondence/files to cabinets/archiving).
- Opening, sorting and scanning incoming post.
- Collecting outgoing post and post franking.
- Making telephone calls to third parties and their motor insurers.
- Making payments on the system and updating claims records.
- Requesting Recovery engineers reports and payment packs.
- MOJ Portal (Ministry of Justice Portal) administration.
- PLP (Post Litigation Partner) administration.
- Photocopying, zipping and scanning of documents.
- To assist in general office administrative duties in keeping with the role.

2. Claims Handler role 

Looking for TWO claims handlers to join their team.  This is a perfect role for either a law graduate or someone that’s worked within third party motor claims.

Working alongside the technical claims handler.  You will need at least 12 months experience working within motor insurance claims. A law graduate or insurance qualification would be desirable.   The role will include handling your own pre litigated caseload (within a corporate client specific motor claims handling team) of claims bought by third parties for their motor and property losses. Telephone and correspondence negotiation with third parties and working within and supporting the rest of the team to achieve and maintain full compliance.
