What does a Company Secretary do? Go to the ICSA open evening to find out more...

On 9 June the ICSA are holding an open evening to introduce the world of the company secretary to anyone interested or considering this as a career option. While little-known, the role, due to its breadth and the exposure it has to the highest levels of business at an early stage in an individual’s career, is very attractive when better understood.

You will hear from current company secretaries what drew them into the profession, how they qualified and why they love what they do. Staff from a specialist recruitment company will talk about routes into the profession, potential career paths and earning potential. Finally, ICSA will present on routes to qualification and how to stay in touch.

The profession is open to all (i.e. there are no subject pre-requisites) but is particularly attractive to law, business and accounting students.

The open evening will be at ICSA , Saffron House, 6-10 Kirby St, London, EC1N 8TS. This is between Farringdon Road and Hatton Garden, nearest station Farringdon.
