Volunteer for the Restorative Justice scheme

Restorative Solutions are looking for volunteers to support those affected by crime, conflict or antisocial behaviour across Northamptonshire, by delivering restorative practices.

Restorative Practice gives people who have been harmed in crime, ASB or conflict the chance to
explain the real impact it has had on their lives and to get answers to their questions. It holds people
to account for what they have done, helps them understand the real impact of their actions, take
responsibility and make amends.

We are looking for people who have the capacity to regularly facilitate or support communication
between people who have been harmed and those who have caused harm by using restorative
practices to ensure that the victim's voice is heard.

You will be fully trained in Restorative Practices and will form part of a Network of restorative
practitioners. You will work together collaboratively to deliver safe and effective restorative
interventions in differing settings, ensuring that Principles of Best Practice and agreed standards of
practice are applied and upheld.

If you are interested in this volunteering position, please email: RJNorthants@restorativesolutions.org.uk or call 07936911408 for an application pack.
Please note: The application deadline for this role is the 28th October 2016.
