Job Title: Claims Handler (ULR)
Reports to: Claims Team Manager
Based At: The Byre, Blisworth Hill Farm, Stoke Road, Blisworth, Northamptonshire NN7 3DB
Main Purpose of Role: Handling your own caseload (within a corporate client specific motor claims handling team) to recover as quickly as possible that clients uninsured motor losses.

  
Additional Core Responsibilities:

1.        Opening claims on the office case management system / conducting initial enquiries.
2.     Sending letters of claim and telephone/correspondence negotiation with third parties and third party insurers to achieve settlement in the quickest possible time.
3.        Issuing court proceedings where required, and conduct of litigated claims to settlement oconclusion.
4.    On all own handled claims ensure full compliance with all office protocols, client service level agreements and client key performance indicators.
5.        Achieving on all own handled claims 100% data integrity compliance on the office case
management system.
6. Working within and supporting the team achieve and maintain full compliance with all office protocols, client service level agreements and client key performance indicators.
7.        Delegation and supervision of appropriate tasks to the Claims Administration Assistants.
8.        Full compliance with all financial transactions/Solicitors Accounts Rules.
9.        Maximise fee earning opportunities without prejudicing client recoveries

QUALIFICATIONS
In order of preference:  
·         5 GCSEs including English and
Maths; all at grade C     or ab        ove (or equivalent).
·         A Law degree/           Insurance Qualification.

legal / insurance / claims management environment.

Position 2 - Claims Handler (CHS)

Reports to: Claims Team Manager
Based At: Strata House, Blisworth Hill Farm, Stoke Road, Blisworth, Northamptonshire NN7 3DB
Main Purpose of Role: Handling your own pre-litigated caseload (within a corporate client specific motor claims handling team) of claims brought by third parties for their motor and property losses. 

Additional Core Responsibilities: 

1. Assessing liability and setting and maintaining reserves in accordance with client service level agreements and client “key performance indicators”.
2. Investigation of merits of third party claim.
3. Telephone and correspondence negotiation with third parties, third party insurers and third party representatives to agree settlement in the quickest possible time.
4. Capture of third party hire and repair.
5. Instruction of own repair, hire provision, loss adjusting and investigation support partners.  On all own handled claims ensure full compliance with all office protocols, client service level agreements and client “key performance indicators”.
6. Achieving on all own handled claims 100% data integrity compliance on the office case management system.
7. Working within and supporting the team to achieve and maintain full compliance with all office
protocols, client service level agreements and client “key performance indicators”. Instructing and liaising with client panel solicitors on litigated claims.
8. Delegation and supervision of appropriate tasks to the Claims Administration Assistants.
Full compliance on all financial transactions with the client service level agreements and client “key performance indicators” and The Solicitors Accounts Rules.
