Series: Assessing Trainee Skills, Wednesday 5th February, 10.00 –
14.30
This workshop
will introduce you to the typical format of an assessment day, including tasks
and group exercises. You will also get top tips on how to prepare and stand out
from the crowd. The best way to find out if a “day in the life of a trainee” is
for you is to test it out. This event will include interactive elements and
allow you to try some traditional trainee tasks. Don’t panic, our Student
Recruitment Team will be on hand to support you and give you hints and tips
along the way.

Convert to
Law, Wednesday 11th March, 17.30 – 20.00
Aimed at
students from a non-law background, our Convert to Law event will provide you
with an insight into career options in the legal sector, the current and future
routes to qualification, the recruitment process for graduate positions and how
to sell your non-law experience.

Bar Series,
Wednesday 1st April, 17.00 – 19.30
This workshop
will explain how the what the Bar is and how to get there. With handy jargon
busters and a whistle-stop tour of how chambers works and a week in the life of
a barrister you will be well equipped to start applying for mini-pupillage and
seeing it first hand. This will be followed by a panel of our tutors, students
and practising barristers who can answer all your questions about, studying and
practice. Followed by networking and refreshments.
