The University of Law are putting on a number of virtual events for students interested in a legal career.

Virtual Convert to Law Event, Live; Wednesday 8th April; 3-4pm


Wanting to convert to a career in law? Unsure about the legal landscape and the various professions within it? This virtual live event is specifically designed with non-law students in mind – to help you become a practising lawyer! It will provide you with an insight into career options in the legal sector, the current and future routes to qualification, the recruitment process for graduate positions and how to sell your non-law experience.

Virtual Bar Series Event, Live; Thursday 9th April; 3-4pm


This virtual live event will explain what the Bar is and how to get there. With handy jargon busters, a whistle-stop tour of how chambers works and a week in the life of a barrister, you will be well equipped to start applying for mini-pupillage's and seeing it first-hand. You will also have an opportunity to ask your questions to our Future Pupil Programme Coordinator, who will be starting his Pupillage in the near future.

Virtual Open Day, Live; Wednesday 15th April; 1-2pm


At our live virtual Open Days, find out about our LPC, BPC or GDL and MA Law courses. You will learn about how our courses are taught, get an opportunity to meet some of our tutors, our current students and our Employability team. Learn how we produce the future lawyers that the legal profession and the wider business world want to employ.
