LPC & BPTC Open Day at Nottingham Trent University- 2nd Nov
The Open Day runs from 10.00 – 16.00 hours with registration from 09.30.
We recognise that not everyone is interested in all three courses, so we suggest that you tailor your arrival time to fit the presentations that you want to attend. There is an opportunity to mingle with course leaders, tutors and current students over lunch (which is free!):
10.00 for the GDL presentations. These will begin with a presentation from Gail Cunningham, the GDL course leader and will be followed by a GDL careers workshop.
11.30 for the LPC presentations. Amanda Rushby, the LPC course leader, will talk through the LPC and then give students an opportunity to participate in an LPC “taster” session. After lunch, there will be a presentation from the LPC Careers team.
14.00 for the BPTC presentations. Ian Fox, the BPTC course leader, will provide an overview of the course before handing over to a practitioner from the local bar who will talk about the process of getting a pupillage.
