As a teaching assistant in an Indian private school
you will get the opportunity to support teaching across the school, run extra-curricular
activities and set up international partnerships.
Where will I go?
Placements will be across India from Jammu in the
North to Tamil Nadu in the South including posts in the major cities of
Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
When will I go?
Placements start in July or August 2016 and last for
two or five months, depending on your needs and the needs of the school you
will be working at.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible you must:
• hold a UK passport or have completed your secondary
and higher education in the UK
• have completed at least one year of higher education
• be a native-level English speaker
• have experience of working with children and a clear interest in living
and working in India.
• be a permanent resident of the UK
We will support you before, during and after with
guidance, training and a welfare support team.
Your host school will provide accommodation and meals and you will receive
