DON’T MISS THE CHANCE TO BE NAMED UK’S BRIGHTEST
FUTURE LEGAL MIND
Aspiring
lawyers are being urged to submit their entries into a competition which will
give a career boost to the country’s brightest Future Legal Mind.
The
deadline is approaching for law students and those in the early days of their
legal career to enter the Future Legal Mind Award.
The
competition, now in its fifth year, is run by National Accident Helpline to give a boost to the fledgling careers of the nation’s most
promising legal talent.
Aspiring
lawyers have until 28th February
to enter for the chance to receive a prize package including the opportunity to
receive valuable mentoring and networking experience by meeting with a
Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice.
The
winner will also receive mentoring advice from experienced lawyers within the
National Accident Helpline team, the chance to star in a showcase film
highlighting their skills, and £2,000.
To
enter, students and recently-qualified law professionals can submit a short
essay to be reviewed by a judging panel, from which 10 entries will be
shortlisted.
The
shortlisted entrants will then each submit a short video to support their
written response, which will be used by the judges to choose their Future Legal
Mind 2019.
This
year the entry criteria has been widened to enable those in the early days of
their legal career who have achieved a legal qualification within the past two
years to enter, as well as current law students.
Simon
Trott, Managing Director of National Accident Helpline and chairman of the
judging panel, said: “It has been heartening to see the impact which winning
Future Legal Mind has had on the career paths of our previous champions.
“The
prize package for 2019 offers our winner great opportunities to meet with
experienced lawyers and kickstart their own career, so I’d encourage law
students and those in the early days of their legal careers to submit their
entry before 28thFebruary for the chance to be our next Future Legal
Mind.”
To
