Applying for an LPC?

Leicester Institute of Legal Practice (LILP)       

For students studying at the University of Northampton, if you achieve a 2:2 or above in your Degree you are guaranteed a place on either the full-time or part-time GDL at LILP.   You still need to apply by the usual route and complete the relevant application form in full and, if you are applying for the full-time GDL, you would need to place LILP as your first choice. If you place LILP as your second or third choice we cannot guarantee you a place on our full-time GDL and our normal selection criteria would apply.

Online Easter Egg Hunt – First person to find five eggs on NCLT’s website wins an LPC for £6,900!

If you are yet to secure an LPC place for 2013, you will not want to miss NCLT’s Online Easter Egg Hunt where you will have the chance to win an eggcellent LPC at the discounted fee of £6,900 (our full price LPC ranges from £7,900 to £8,500). We have one discounted LPC available which can be taken at any of six our centres* (London, Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Southampton and Derby).

So how does it work?....

First person to post on NCLT’s Facebook wall the five page titles where the eggs appear on NCLT’s website wins an LPC worth up to £8,500!

The competition will take place on Thursday 28 March 2013 at 11am.  If you are the first person to post on NCLT’s Facebook wall all five page titles of the web pages where you found the Easter Eggs you will win the prize (subject to eligibility).

How do I take part in the Online Easter Egg Hunt? 

To take part you must complete the 3 easy steps:

  1. Like us on Facebook (in advance of the competition)
  2. Sign up to the Easter Egg Hunt by completing the entry form on our Facebook page (in advance of the competition)
  3. Sign into Facebook and logon to NCLT’s website www.nclt.org.uk  on Thursday 28 March at 11am…and join the egg hunt!

We will send you full instructions of the Easter Egg Hunt once you have signed up.

NB To be eligible to claim the LPC prize, you must complete the steps mentioned above.

Calling all prospective Solicitors - LPC TASTER SESSION


LPC TASTER SESSION - be an NCLT LPC student for the afternoon!
Wednesday 20 March 2013, 1pm to 3pm, University of Northampton  (Room Cottesbrooke 232, Park campus). 
If you are interested in taking the LPC, then you will not want to miss NCLT's taster session. This informal and fun event will give you a real insight into the LPC and studying with NCLT. You will have the opportunity to take part in a negotiation skills workshop and CV & covering letter exercise.
  • Meet NCLT's friendly tutors
  • Practice your negotiation skills
  • Identify what firms are looking for in a trainee and how to draft a CV and covering letter
  • Find out more about how NCLT teach the LPC

Open to all LLB students.
